Summer Camps 2011

Spend a fun filled week at one or more of our summer camps. Campers will learn to draw and paint projects based on the specific theme of the week. Teen Journaling (13+)
Using multiple media, we will create an artistically decorated book, including designs & gels on its cover, and sectional pages with illustrations & various laces, stickers, metallics & tiny
found objects.

ANCIENT EGYPT (7-12)
A chalk pastel image of Pyramids, hieroglyphics on papyrus, and King Tut's visage on foil scratch paper.

Lions, Tigers & Bears (7-12)
A watercolor Lion mask, an unusual drawing of a Tiger and a felt marker
multi-colored Bear on shiny paper.

Faces & Figures (9+)
Using many media: a graphite portrait of a famous Rock singer, chalk pastel & colored pencil self portrait and action figures of all sorts.

Cats & Dogs (7-12)
A cat drawn in the dark & a chalk or oil pastel portrait of a dog, as well as an embossed image on copper.

Under the Sea (7-12)
A jelly fish in colored pencil on colored matboard, an Orca leaping from the Puget Sound in felt marker on shiny paper and a tiny Treasure Chest to decorate.
